Ministry Opporitunities at Grace

College  Ministry

Students from Truman State University and Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine have always been a vital part of our GCBC family.  We encourage students to join us in all aspects of church life, including any church event or fellowship time.  Students add an unique dimension to our church body that is greatly enjoyed and appreciated.  Our Pastor wants to be available to you at any time.  He also regularly visits the campuses and enjoys interacting with the students.   “Adopt-A-Student” is an important ministry at GCBC.  Students volunteer to be paired up with church families who want to offer “a home away from home” through friendship, fellowship and home-cooked meals. Many of our students are involved with Campus Crusade for Christ ministries.  They offer Bible studies and discipleship groups that stress small-group involvement, prayer, mutual accountability, spiritual growth and outreach.  Social activities, seminars, and retreats
further enhance the students’ relationship with God. GCBC has helped sponsor students each summer on mission projects throughout the U.S. and the world. We are committed to you!

Praise through joyful music is an integral part of worship at GCBC.  We have a careful blend of both traditional hymnody and new praise each Sunday with our Worship Leaders.  There is also ample opportunities to participate in solos and other special musical presentations.
The Music Ministry of GCBC strives wholeheartedly and with joyful enthusiasm to support the pastoral leadership in the worship at GCBC, allowing the congregation to share in a foretaste of the unending heavenly-praise giving which is to be every Christian’s final destiny!
