Meet the President<\/h2>\n

Ken Bruce Kemper graduated from Grace Bible College (now Grace Christian University) in 1985 and has served in vocational Christian Ministry his whole life. Ken has a Masters of Divinity from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and a PhD from Capital Seminary and Graduate School.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ken B. Kemper, Ph.D., is the fifth president of Grace Christian University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He began his term in 2003 after taking over for his father, Bruce Kemper.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Kemper has a passion for courageously serving the Lord and has been given many great opportunities worldwide to be \u201cin the trenches\u201d in full-time ministry roles. He, his wife Kathy, and their three children served 16 years in Tanzania, East Africa. In Tanzania, they did evangelism and church planting as well as spiritual leadership development.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Teaching by example and engaging in service learning that leads to transformation are important to Dr. Kemper\u2019s philosophy of ministry and education. Over his career, he has led hundreds of evangelistic endeavors and trained evangelists to do personal and open-air mass evangelism. Dr. Kemper is a passionate communicator of God\u2019s Word who addresses various audiences across the country and around the globe. He is a visionary leader who serves with others in the work of God for redemption, transformation, and glorification.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ken and Kathy\u2019s greatest joys are their three adult children Kaleb (Amber), Zechariah (Erin), and Naomi (John), who all graduated from Grace and serve the Lord in vocational ministry in locations around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n
