Wyoming, MI – The Grace Christian University cross country program is excited to announce the addition of senior Logan Lazarock from Hamilton High School for next season.  The son of Wayne and Erin Lazarock of Holland, MI, Logan will be competing for Hamilton’s track team in distance events this spring.

Joplin, MO – The Grace Christian University cross country teams faced the NCCAA’s best cross country competition at Nationals on Friday, hosted on the Missouri Southern State University cross country course in Joplin, MO.  Temperatures were in the mid 70s with a 10-20 mph wind as the Tigers toed the line for their respective races.  Despite conditions that were much different than their previous few weeks of training in Michigan, the Tigers left everything they had on the course and earned some hard fought results.

Dubuque, IA – The Grace Christian University cross country teams had the race of their season so far at the NCCAA North/Midwest Regional Championships on Friday, with the women’s team finishing 2nd overall in the team standings and two men and one woman earning “All-Region” awards.

Lansing, MI – The Grace Christian University cross country teams raced against tough competition at Lansing Community College for the “Lansing Invite” on Friday.  In their hottest meet of the season, the Tigers put up a strong fight against Ferris State University, Davenport University, Alma College, Rochester Christian, and nine other schools.

Escanaba, MI – The Grace Christian University cross country team took a trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan this weekend to run in the Norse Invitational hosted by Bay College. The course proved to be quite different from what the team is accustomed to so far this season with rolling hills through farm fields, running through a horse barn, and the warmest air temperatures for a race so far. Along with traveling, it was an excellent opportunity to work on a strategy for regionals in Iowa next month, as they will be facing a similar course there.
